BE STILL …
AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD
Be still, and know that I am God
My Father said to me
And I will fill you with my peace
And set your spirit free
You are my own, I've chosen you
You are precious in my sight
Give Me your heart and I promise you
I'll be your guiding light
My love for you will never fade
By your side I'll always stay
My joy will be your strength and shield
If you'll let ME have my way
I'm standing here with arms outstretched
I want to touch and make you whole
Of my living waters, come and drink
And I will quench your thirsty soul
Peace! Be still! I am with you now
And no one could love you more
My love for you will never die
Of that you can be sure
That's what my Father said to me
And I know his words are true
I know that He has set me free
And He'll do the same for YOU
So reach out, ask Him to forgive
And pardon all your sin
Ask Him to be your God and King
And He will take You In.
BE STILL ….
AND TAKE SOME TIME
· to reflect on who God is
· to fill your mind with thoughts of how wonderful He is
· to grow in knowledge of his unchanging character
· to find peace and comfort in His arms
· to sit at His feet and adore Him
BE STILL ….
· I'll contemplate his beauty; I'll study at his feet. That's the only
quiet, secure place in a noisy world, the perfect getaway, far from the
buzz of traffic. (Ps 27:4-5 MSG)
· "Step out of the traffic! Take a long, loving look at Me" (Ps
46:10 MSG)
BE STILL …
AND KNOW THAT JESUS IS ALWAYS WITH YOU
· … He is never far from any one of us. (Act 17:27 GW)
· You are all around me on every side. (Ps 139:5 GNB)
· He is near to those who call to Him. (Ps 145:18 GNB)
· The LORD keeps close watch over the whole world. (2Ch 16:9 GNB)
· I am a God who is everywhere and not in one place only. No one can hide
where I cannot see them.
Do you not know that I am everywhere in heaven and on earth? (Jer
23:23-24 GNB)
A little child lay in the dark
The room was strange, he saw nowhere
He was afraid; but then he called,
"Father, are you there?"
He felt a hand, so strong and warm
Close clasping his; then calm and clear
He heard his father's tender voice,
"Yes, Lad, I am here."
Like the small child, we sometimes feel
That we are in the dark of care;
In terror of some harm, we call,
"O Father, are You there?"
We reach our hand to Him, and find
A blessed answer to our fear
His hand holds ours; we hear his voice
"Fear not, for I am here"
So though we tremble in the dark,
In need of strength and help and cheer,
We have a tender Father's word,
"Fear not, for I am here."
BE STILL …
AND LET HIM COMFORT YOU
And when I was burdened with worries, You comforted me and made me feel
secure. (Ps 94:19 CEV)
BE STILL …
AND LET HIM HOLD YOUR HAND
Where is God when it hurts?
He is there beside you
Waiting for you
Holding your hand
He will never let go
Forever, wherever you go
He is always with you
Holding your hand
BE STILL …
AND HIDE UNDER HIS WINGS
· In the shadow of your wings I find protection until the raging storms
are over. (Ps 57:1 GNB)
· Protect me as You would your very eyes; hide me in the shadow of your
wings. (Ps 17:8 GNB)
· You will be covered by his feathers; under his wings you will be safe.
(Ps 91:4 BBE)
BE STILL …
AND KNOW THAT GOD IS IN CONTROL
· I create light and darkness, happiness and sorrow. I, the LORD, do all
of this. (Isa 45:7 CEV)
· We make our own plans, but the LORD decides where we will go. (Prov
16:9 CEV)
· He himself fixed beforehand the exact times and the limits of the
places where they would live. (Act 17:26 GNB)
God is in control
We believe that his children will not be forsaken
God is in control
We will choose to remember and never be shaken
There is no power above or beside Him
We know, God is in control
BE STILL …
AND LAY BACK IN HIS ARMS
The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting
arms (Deut 33:27 ESV)
BE STILL …
AND LET HIM CARRY YOU
There is no problem too big
He cannot solve it
There is no mountain too tall
He cannot move it
There is no storm too dark
God cannot calm it
There is no sorrow too deep
He cannot sooth it
If He carried the weight of the world upon his
shoulders
I know my sister that he will carry YOU!
He said come unto Me
All who are weary
And I will give you rest
BE STILL …
AND EXPERIENCE HIS LOVE FOR YOU
The mountains and hills may crumble, but my love for you will never end; I
will keep forever my promise of peace." So says the LORD who loves
you. (Isa 54:10 GNB)
BE STILL …
AND ACCEPT HIS FORGIVENESS

CEV)
BE STILL …
AND PUT YOUR TRUST IN HIM
And yet the LORD is waiting to be merciful to you. He is ready to take
pity on you because He always does what is right. Happy are those who put
their trust in the LORD. (Isa 30:18 GNB)
BE STILL …
AND LET HIM GUIDE YOU
· Anyone who intends to come with Me has to let Me lead. You're not in
the driver's seat - I am. (Luke 9:23 MSG)
· Your constant love is my guide; your faithfulness always leads me. (Ps

BE STILL …
AND RECEIVE HEALING
· Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed. (Jer 17:14 GW)
· He sent out his word and healed them (Ps 107:20 ESV)
BE STILL …
AND KNOW THAT HE KEEPS ALL HIS PROMISES

mind. Whatever He promises, He does; He speaks, and it is done. (Num 23:19
GNB)

was a great calm. (Mat 8:26 GNB)
· Then in their trouble they called to the LORD, and he saved them from
their distress. He calmed the raging storm, and the waves became quiet.
(Ps 107:28-29 GNB)
BE STILL …
AND LOOK AT THE CROSS
… I made up my mind to forget everything except Jesus Christ and
especially his death on the cross. (1Cor 2:2 GNB)
· Christ himself carried our sins in his body to the cross (1Pet 2:24
GNB)
At the cross You died for me
At the cross, at Calvary
At the cross, You paid the price
Lord, I thank you for the cross
BE STILL …
AND LET HIM GIVE YOU REST
"Are you tired? Worn out? … Come to Me. Get away with Me and you'll
recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. (Mat 11:28 MSG)
